Installation of Final Clarifier Gear & Trickling Filter Repair

SEMS Inc. was awarded the contract to upgrade the mechanical parts in the clarifier and trickling filters at the North Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The first phase of the project was to provide industrial cleaning and waste handling of the sludge in the clarifier. The clearing allowed a safe and favorable work environment.

SEMS dismantled the belts and chains, replaced worn parts and reassembled the clarifier and filter.

The units contained approximately 600 cubic yards of sludge that were removed and properly disposed.
