SEMS provides hazardous waste disposal for locations throughout the State of Louisiana. This project includes removal disposal and transportation of materials for more than 100 locations including District Headquarter Units, Maintenance Units, Ferries, and Pumping Stations.
Work performed:
Removal, disposal, and transportation of hazardous materials including but not limited to:
Trichloroethane
Paint and paint related materials
Kerosene
Asphaltic sludge
Laboratory reagents
Corrosives
Contaminated fuels, containers, and soil
Creosote timbers
Non-regulated or flammable liquid sludge, or solids
Transformers
Fluorescent light bulbs
Quarterly Contract Usage Report prepared and submitted to Office of State Purchasing summarizing the amount of solid waste being generate by the state of Louisiana.
